Ideas for Fund Raising

A lot of  people are keen to raise money for Hope for Home, but many have asked the Trustees  to supply ideas of what to do. 

The Trustees discussed some ideas at a recent meeting, and these included :

- sponsored run, walk, swim, cycle ride, parachuting/sky diving, abseiling, athletic events, golf tournament
- treks
- sponsored silence (for children !!)
- personal occasions e.g. birthdays, weddings, anniversaries etc
- garden open day – one supporter, Anne, is  doing this 4.7.09
- plant sale
- coffee morning
- cake sale
- wine tasting
- quiz night
- jumble sale
- bring and buy sale
- car boot sale
- book sale
- save loose change
- carol singing
- sponsored New Year resolution keeping
